To promote a new queer love story being published during Pride Month, Ordinary Love by Marie Rutkoski, Julianna set out to source 50 book influencers. She sourced the creators through her own contacts, cold outreach and managing interns sourcing based on her briefing. After sourcing the creators and sharing the addresses with the client for mailing them books, Julianna managed creator communication, innovating a new method for following up with creators and encouraging them to post about the book. ChallyPop’s competition model also incentivized posting through the possibility of earning cash prizes.
